Zeitah

Situation: In July of 2000, Dr. Ron Tappy was looking for a way to recruit more volunteers for his archaeological project in Israel at Tel Zayit. His challenge was to communicate effectively with archaeological professionals and students all over the world, and to deliver timely information to them in an efficient manner.

Solution: Nauticom worked closely with Dr. Tappy to construct a site that captured the essence of his project. Connecting a web site with an archaeological site proved to be the perfect way for archaeological enthusiasts to appreciate and participate in this important work.

Stats: The summer of 2001 proved to be The Zeitah Excavations’ most successful digging season to date, with over 75 volunteers traveling from all over the world to be a part of this historic excavation. “Our success was made possible in part by the web site built for us by Nauticom,” comments Dr. Tappy. “I have had countless responses from people who love my site and find it to be extremely helpful.”
